Welcome to my collection of inventions, art, & history. Get your lucky number, flip my coin, play my bird flute, & learn my chords. Stop on into the ship gallery and read my book.
Do not tell Tad Scientist where I am.
I have no idea how it works.
Flip Me

The rest can wait.
WARNING: Set volume to safe level before playing. Turn phone silent mode off to hear Bird Flute.
I recorded my bird singing into this special flute I created. My bird always sings in tune. Play this flute to my chords or any song in the key of C Major or A Minor.
Let the emoticons guide your melody. The middle =) is your home note, use it to pass to other notes if you are new to writing melodies. Use =), :), and :D for happy parts of your melody & :( and :/ for sad parts. Play them in any order, mix them up... finish your song on different notes to see how your song feels!
Tip: Search for backing tracks in C Major or A Minor, and improvise melodies using this Bird Flute!
Troubleshooting: Bird Flute not working? Make sure your volume is up but not too loud, and turn your phone silent mode off.
Behold... a live-looper-shoegaze-folk song... loop the chords & play your own melodies between the verses. Or, collab with a friend (or enemy) to play the chords or melodies. Once the melody is correct, then my ship is yours...

Pirate Bexley, that was the deal
Pirate Bexley, I got more notes
Pirate Bexley, I’m on your ship
Pirate Bexley, why aren’t you here?
Pirate Bexley, why can’t I leave?
Pirate Bexley, what curse is this?
Now... I’m Pirate Bexley

Tad Scientist finally found me... Yes, I owed him a guitar. We had a nice chat, and I taught him a fun chord progression. I vainly called these the Pirate Bexley Chords, but that’s what us pirates like to do... we invent things, be magical, and name our creations after ourselves. For the lore of course.
In demonstrating the chords, I told Tad to write me a melody to go along with it. If he were to get the melody correct, I would give him my ship. He thought I was full of it, but I was serious as I usually am with this offer. I love my ship, but I love a good melody even more.
Tad said he was excited to loop the chords to try different melodies. He explained his loop pedal to me... perhaps in too much detail, but it was a delight seeing someone so excited about a tool that could help them get my ship.
After a bit more playing, he said it would be great to add some lyrics to make this a live-loop-shoegaze-folk song of sorts. I had no idea what shoegaze was. He explained shoegaze to me, but I was still perplexed. Nonetheless, I was up for him making lyrics, especially if it helped get the chords into folklore because again... be magical.
We said our goodbyes, and Tad was excited to get back in touch one day. I let him know we probably wouldn’t see each other again until he got the melody correct.
